Using this site

By using City Taste Test you agree to these terms. The site is provided as it is: quizzes, games, guides and generated plans are general information about food, not professional dietary, medical or safety advice. If you have a food allergy or a medical condition, check with the people preparing your food before you order.

Guides, plans and what they are not

City guides describe widely documented dishes and the kinds of places that serve them. They do not name businesses, and they do not promise that any particular dish will be available at any particular time. A generated plan is a suggestion for what to taste and in what order.

Food carries risk. You are responsible for your own choices about what to eat and where.

Credits, plans and subscriptions

  • One credit builds one complete taste test route, unlocked.
  • A new account includes one free credit, granted once.
  • Credits from a one-time pack do not expire.
  • A subscription includes a repeating allowance while it is active and renews until canceled.
  • Canceling a subscription stops the next renewal and does not remove credits already granted.

Refunds

If a route fails to generate, the credit is returned to your account. If you believe you were charged in error, write to contact@citytastetest.com within fourteen days and we will look at the order. Where a subscription has been used heavily in the current period, any refund is at our discretion and is described in the reply, not hidden.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break the rate limits, scrape the site, resell access, or use the generated plans to train another service. Do not use the site in a way that damages anyone else's use of it.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be limited by agreement.

Changes to these terms

Material changes are dated at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
